PhD-Programm – Medical Life Science and Technology
This program is designed for students with a background in medicine, engineering or life sciences who wish to specialize in oncology, neuroscience, immunology/infections, biomedical imaging, cardiovascular research or molecular medicine. The MLST program combines intensive full-time research with a comprehensive course curriculum and leads to the doctoral degree PhD (Doctor of Philosophy).

Translationale Medizin
Dieses Programm richtet sich an besonders forschungsinteressierte Medizinstudierende. Es legt großen Wert auf eine optimale Passung zwischen Projektleitern, Projekten und Promovierenden. Studierende können sich bei einer Projektbörse über angebotene Projekte informieren und bewerben sich nach Gesprächen mit den Projektleitern. Das Programm umfasst ein Jahr Vollzeitforschung und zwei Jahre studienbegleitende Forschung sowie ein speziell entwickeltes Curriculum, um den Titel Dr. med. sci. zu erwerben.

Experimental Medicine and Health Sciences
For candidates with a diploma or master's degree in natural sciences, this program offers the opportunity to obtain the Dr. rer. nat. degree. It comprises a three-year scientific project and a qualification program with subject-specific courses and the submission of a first-author publication.
