Submitting the Thesis

In order to be able to submit your thesis, you must have successfully completed all the requirements of the qualification program. If you have any questions regarding theseOnce you are on the doctoral candidacy list and have successfully completed all requirements of the qualification program, it is possible to submit your dissertation via Doc GS. After the online submission, all original documents must be submitted to the TUM Center for Study and Teaching. After submission, the examination committee, consisting of the chairperson and two examiners, can be appointed at the regular School Council meetings. The examiners are given a six-week period to prepare their reports. This process may be extended should the School of Medicine and Health need to appoint a third examiner. Once the reviews have been received, your thesis will be presented for approval at the next School Council meeting. At the end of the 21-day circulation period, the thesis will be officially accepted and you will be asked to arrange an examination date with the examination committee.
